WARM NC CHOSEN AS 2023 WAA CARES CHARITY
WILMINGTON, NC – WARM NC is getting a boost from the Wilmington Apartment Association (WAA) in 2023. WAA members have selected WARM NC as their charity of the year. The announcement was made at the 2022 Crest Awards.
“The most common way to lift a family out of poverty is through homeownership,” said Suzanne Jalot, Director of Communications for WARM. “By helping individual families with home repairs, WARM is helping to address the affordable housing crisis and provide a path out of poverty. Volunteers and funding are critical to our mission.”
The WAA provides training, networking opportunities, and other resources to the multi-family industry. They will be raising donations on behalf of WARM NC at all networking and special events through 2023 including 50/50 raffles at dinner meetings, trade shows, golf tournaments, and their winter gala. All proceeds for 2023 will be presented to WARM NC at the Crest Awards in January 2024.
