WILMINGTON, NC, May 18, 2026 - WARM NC is proud to announce the appointment of Jackson Bunn as the organization’s new Board President. Bunn officially began his presidency on January 1, 2026, succeeding Charles Chambers, who concluded the role after dedicated service and leadership to the organization.

Bunn serves as Vice President and Commercial Lender at First Bank and brings extensive experience in relationship building, strategic leadership, and community investment. As Board President, he will help guide WARM NC’s mission to repair, rebuild, and make homes accessible while inspiring service, generosity, and hope across southeastern North Carolina.

“Jackson’s leadership, community-minded approach, and commitment to strengthening our region make him an excellent fit to lead WARM NC’s Board of Directors,” said Andy Jones, WARM NC CEO. “We are grateful for his willingness to serve in this role as we continue expanding our impact and celebrating 30 years of safe housing.”

WARM NC also extends its sincere gratitude to Charles Chambers for his leadership and service as Board President. During his tenure, Chambers helped support the organization’s continued growth and commitment to providing critical home repairs and accessibility modifications for homeowners in need.

“It is an honor to serve as Board President for WARM NC,” said Bunn. “Safe housing is foundational to strong communities, and I look forward to working alongside fellow board members, staff, volunteers, and supporters to continue advancing WARM NC’s mission.”
