At WARM NC, we believe safe heat is essential to health. A warm home is not a luxury, it is a basic need that protects dignity, stability, and well being. Yet many of our neighbors in Southeastern North Carolina face winter without safe heating, putting them at risk of illness, injury, and dangerous alternatives to stay warm.
This winter, you can help change that. Our goal is to collect 12 space heaters, or raise $1,000 to purchase them, so homeowners can stay warm and safe during the coldest months.
Your gift does more than provide warmth. It helps a senior avoid hypothermia while aging in place. It reduces respiratory risks for someone living with chronic illness. It prevents the use of unsafe heating methods that can lead to fires or carbon monoxide exposure.
