Emily Mead

Emily serves as Volunteer Coordinator at WARM NC, where she recruits, engages, and supports individual and group volunteers for rebuilding projects across southeastern North Carolina. She ensures every volunteer has a meaningful and rewarding experience while helping advance WARM’s mission.

With 11 years of nonprofit experience, she previously held several roles with Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain, most recently as a Senior Unit Director overseeing a large-scale afterschool and summer program. During her time there, she also served on the operations committee, training team, and advisory council.

Passionate about community outreach and service, she finds joy in connecting volunteers to impactful opportunities. On weekends, you can find her watching sports, reading on the beach, or spending time with her dog, Walter.
