Rickman Davis

Rickman Davis is Vice President and a senior credit officer at Live Oak Bank. In this role, Rickman is responsible for approving commercial credit requests within his individual approval authority. He is also a voting member of the bank’s loan committee. In addition to loan approval responsibilities, Rickman is responsible for managing the bank’s construction risk management team.

Rickman joined Live Oak shortly after graduating summa cum laude from Wofford College with a dual BA in Finance and Government. He began his banking career as a Relationship Manager working in the bank’s Business Analyst Group. Following his time as an RM, he worked as a credit underwriter, and then as a lender, specializing in hotels. Eventually, Rickman was tapped to lead the hotel lending team and was the lead originator of new hotel loans at the bank. Rickman was a varsity football player at Wofford and graduated as a member of the national honors fraternity, Phi Beta Kappa. He also graduated with honors from the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington, Seattle, in September 2019.
