Rickman Davis

Rickman Davis is SVP and senior credit officer team lead at Live Oak Bank. In this role, Rickman is responsible for approving commercial credit requests within his individual approval authority. He is also a voting member of the bank’s loan committee. In addition to loan approval responsibilities, Rickman is responsible for leading a team of credit officers within the Specialty Credit department at Live Oak. Rickman has been an employee at Live Oak since 2015 and has worked in various roles across commercial lending and credit administration while at the bank.

Rickman graduated summa cum laude from Wofford College with a dual BA in Finance and Government. Rickman was a varsity football player at Wofford and graduated as a member of the national honors fraternity, Phi Beta Kappa. He also graduated with honors from the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington, Seattle, in September 2019. PCBS, in partnership with the Foster Graduate School of Business at the University of Washington, is recognized as one of the country’s top graduate schools of banking.

Rickman is a member of St. Andrews-Covenant Presbyterian Church and his wife, Lucy, is a critical care pharmacist at Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Rickman and Lucy have two wonderful pups, Buster and Bella, that love family outings to the beach and hiking in the mountains.
