$2.8 Mil
Annual Repair Value or Rebuild Value
WARM NC completes an estimated $2.8 million in annual repair value each year, providing critical home repairs, accessibility modifications, and safety improvements to homeowners across southeastern North Carolina. From wheelchair ramps and flooring repairs to roof replacements and accessibility updates, these repairs help older adults, individuals with disabilities, veterans, and low-income families remain safe and independent in their homes. Beyond the repairs, this investment strengthens neighborhoods, supports healthier communities, and preserves affordable housing throughout the region.

Annual Value of Volunteer Services
Volunteers are at the heart of WARM NC’s work. Each year, individuals, businesses, churches, and community groups give their time and skills to help repair homes and support neighbors in need across southeastern North Carolina. From building wheelchair ramps to assisting with safety repairs and rebuilding projects, volunteers make it possible for WARM NC to serve more households each year. Based on North Carolina’s estimated volunteer value of $33.01 per hour, their dedication represents an annual value of $549,814 in volunteer service helping keep homes safe across our region.
2,500+
Homes Repaired Since 1996
Since our founding in 1996, WARM NC has repaired more than 2,500 homes across southeastern North Carolina, helping thousands of homeowners remain safe and secure in the homes they love. What began as a small effort serving just 32 households in 2006 has grown into a regional mission, assisting 121 households in 2018 and 555 households in 2024 alone. Over the past 30 years, our work has continued to evolve to meet the growing needs of our community, creating safer homes, stronger neighborhoods, and healthier futures for local homeowners.
Our Impact Reach
WARM NC serves homeowners across southeastern North Carolina, including Bladen, Brunswick, Columbus, Duplin, New Hanover, Onslow, and Pender counties. Each community has its own character, but many families across the region share similar challenges when it comes to maintaining safe housing.
In rural communities and growing coastal towns alike, many homeowners live on fixed or limited incomes and cannot afford critical home repairs. Aging homes, rising costs, and limited access to repair resources can make even small problems, like broken steps or unsafe bathrooms, difficult to address.
