Sadie came to Wilmington in 2016 to attend Cape Fear Community College. Shortly after graduating with an Associates in Arts, she transferred to UNCW where she obtained a B.A. in International Relations minoring in Nonprofit Management. During her time at UNCW, Sadie worked with various nonprofits in the Wilmington Area including Kids Making It and The Humane Society. After completing her bachelors, Sadie moved to Miami, FL where she earned a M.A. in International Relations with honors while helping children in the Juvenile Detention Center obtain their GED.


After finishing her masters, Sadie decided Wilmington was the perfect place call her forever home. She is mother to an Aussie-Poodle named Olive, and she spends her free time surfing, playing guitar, and creating art with various mediums. She is a world traveler and has visited 10 countries in the last three years. She even lived in Vina Del Mar, Chile for six months in 2019 where she taught English as a Second Language to at-risk children. Sadie could not be more excited about continuing her career in the nonprofit sector and cannot wait to build relationships with our wonderful volunteers!
