Andy Jones, MDiv

Chief Executive Officer

As Chief Executive Officer, Andy coordinates with WARM NC leadership to establish the strategic direction for the organization. He also collaborates with community partners to bring about lasting change in the Cape Fear region by building and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with affordable housing organizations and those tangentially connected to the cause of providing safe and healthy homes for all.

Since Hurricane Florence hit in 2018, Andy has taken on leadership roles in several Long Term Recovery Groups (LTRG). He serves on the LTRG's construction committees in Brunswick, New Hanover, and Pender counties. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for North Carolina Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (NCVOAD). It is a joy for him to connect with other agencies in the recovery effort.

Andy and his wife, Becca, have three daughters and one son. He loves going to the beach, reading, playing volleyball, and traveling as a family. Becca serves as the Minister to Children at First Baptist Church of Wilmington.

Three fun facts about Andy:

  1. When I was 5, I was pretty sure I would be a teacher when I grew up.

  2. One item on my “bucket” list is to visit all of the lower 48 states before my oldest graduates high school. We are about halfway there with 4 years to go!

  3. The most unusual job I’ve ever had was a Retrieval Specialist. I worked on call for a funeral home and had to go in the middle of the night to collect the deceased to take them to the funeral home.
